Whitewater Rafting

Recently, the US National Whitewater Center opened up in Charlotte, NC, which is about 2.5 hours from Raleigh. My brother-in-law went with his company a few weeks ago and loved it, so Becca and I decided to go as well. They have 3 channels of class II-IV rapids. The US Olympic kayak team trains here and they have all sorts of stuff to do including the rafting, mountain biking, the largest outdoor climbing wall, etc. (I have not been paid for this endorsement). Anyway, here are some pictures from the trip.

We didn't have a picture of us on the water, so just imagine that we are on this boat, although we looked much better. Becca and I rode front, so we set the pace while paddling and got most of the water, especially when we surfed some of the rapids.
