Fun with the Cousins

Riley has really enjoyed playing with her cousins while we've been in Utah. It's hard to get her down for a nap because she knows she is missing something. It's also really hard to get a picture of 4 kids that are 3 1/2 years, 21 months, 18 months, and 10 months old. Whether it's one of them crawling away, eating grass, closing their eyes, or getting in shadow (ok, maybe that's the photographer's fault [me]), I have a newfound respect for portrait photographers.

Riley and Brady are about the same age and they have been really cute together. We still need to get a picture of them hugging, but they both love to hug each other. Here's a picture of them smooching. Close your eyes, Riley! We have learned that Riley is relatively relaxed and doesn't get too upset when toys are taken from her (Brady's a little more aggressive in getting the toy he wants). Most of the time, she just wanders around, swinging her arms from her side to a clapping position in front of her. Becca's sisters love my impression of it and thought I was crazy until they saw Riley doing it.

Of course, when you get sisters together with little kids, you have to put them (the kids) in the bath together - blackmail for later in life.
