In the spirit of catching up on this blog before the year is over, here is our recap of Halloween.
Breakfast was scary pumpkin pancakes. Unfortunately, Riley really was scared of the icing spider, so I had to wipe it off her pancake with a paper towel before she would eat it.

We went to a Halloween party at a friend’s house, came home for a quick dinner of steak chili, and then headed out to trick-or-treat around our cul-de-sac.

Riley dressed up as a princess for the party, but changed into her (warmer) kitty costume for trick-or-treating. Asher was surprisingly unfazed by the giraffe face on his head.

And finally, a quick video of Riley's costume parade with her preschool class. I love how obvious her confusion is.
I'm excited now for next Halloween, when they'll both be old enough to enjoy it.

I don't blame Riley one bit that pancake does look creepy.
I love that it's not so much a parade as a bunch of kids walking in a clump. A really cute clump but a clump nonetheless!
