Swimming Lessons

Riley and Asher both took swimming lessons this summer. Asher's was a mom and tot class (therefore no pictures of him), and he seemed pretty indifferent about the whole thing. Riley, on the other hand, progressed a ton in her four weeks of lessons. When she started she was hesitant to put her ears in the water, would only jump in if a parent or teacher was there to catch her, and wouldn't even try to float on her back.

At her final lesson she was gliding across the pool on her tummy and her back, jumping from the side into the water, and diving to the bottom of the pool to pick up dive sticks. I honestly think her teacher was a little frustrated that Riley wouldn't keep her head out of the water long enough to listen to instructions.
