Sprinklers

We have been enjoying a beautiful spring, and the kids took advantage of the warm weather one recent afternoon by running through the sprinklers in the back yard. You will see, however, that Riley and Asher have two very different definitions of "running through the sprinklers."

To make the difference more obvious, I cropped the pictures of Riley so that the sprinkler is in the center of each photo.

I edited the first two photos of Asher the same way, although I had to do landscape shots to make it possible:

By the third photo, I could no longer center the sprinkler and still include Asher in the photo.

 And with the last one, the sprinkler didn't even make it in the shot, although the dog did. Bernie would NEVER voluntarily get wet, so that gives another reference  of how "close" Asher was to the sprinkler.

But look how happy he is!

What matters is they both had a great time. After each taking a couple of turns, they had both had enough water. I wrapped them in beach towels, positioned three patio chairs next to each other in the sun, and read a couple chapters of Witches to them while they soaked up the sun.
