What Language Barrier?

We put Google Translate to good use for a short period after Tyson came home. If we were having a hard time communicating with him, we'd type in the word or phrase, have it translated, and then use the "Listen" feature to have it spoken to Tyson on Korean.

We have been periodically sending updates and printed photos of Tyson to his second foster mom. We would send them to our agency in Colorado and they would send them to the agency in Seoul. Someone there would translate the message and pass it along to the foster mom. Until now. She recently sent us a note, through the agencies, that included her email address. I immediately sat down and sent her three emails full of  recent photos, along with a short update. In it I told her that her note had been translated for us by someone at our agency, and I hoped she had someone to translate that message into Korean. I received her reply this morning in my Gmail account. It was already in English when it arrived in my inbox.

Thats so cool! She must love getting emails and notes from parents of the kids that she got to watch for a short time and see how they turn out. What fun!
