A couple of months ago, our friends told us about a kids club for the Round Rock Express, the local AAA baseball team. For $15, we got 4 outfield tickets to 5 games plus a t-shirt and blanket. We've missed the first 3 games for various reasons, but they gave us vouchers to use at future games. Last night, we went to our first game this season. It was Riley's first baseball game.

We set up our blanket on the outfield berm and got some $1 hotdogs. I'm no Kobayashi, but I downed 3 in about 3 minutes. Riley had one and nursed it for the whole game.

Riley's favorite part of the game? The ice. Once in a while she would see the ball and say, "ball," but she ate every last piece of ice from my cup.

I think I'd be like Riley, more interested in the food than watching the game.

It is so fun to take kids to things-you end up watching them watch the game more than you watch the game! It is quite entertaining :) I also love the red sneakers-how cut eis that? I want a girl...waaa.....;)
That sounds like a fun summer activity, especially since you got to sit in the shade. I'm digging those matching red shoes...very cute outfit. She looks so grown up with her hair like that. How does she have so much hair???
