With Grandma in town, we decided to indulge her love of Texas barbeque at Smitty's. For the record, three barbeque visits (Smitty's, Cooper's, Smitty's) in 11 days for us. Today: Brisket and Ribs. Yum.
After driving back from Lockhart, we walked off part of our lunch at the Austin Botanical Gardens. It was a nice walk. I always like the Japanese gardens. I posted a few of the nature pictures on my blog.
That Texas BBQ looks really good! I think we've been to Smitty's before, or maybe it was Bubba's? I remember it was in Lockhart though. Dave's parents used to live in Prairie Lea, TX, close to Lockhart and Luling.
