Easter Weekend

I've been a slacker about getting these photos posted. Mostly because there's not much to say about them. We had an Easter egg hunt for Riley in our back yard on Saturday morning. And yes, it was cold enough here in mid-April to warrant her winter coat.
Riley had a great time collecting all the eggs and was very methodical about it. She would set her basket down, collect all the eggs in that area and put them into the basket, then pick it up and move on the the next section of the yard.

Asher didn't care much about the eggs, but he looked cute as our little Easter bunny.
After church on Sunday I was able to get Riley to hold still long enough to get some pictures of the two of them in their Easter clothes, and then a family shot too. Dinner that evening (which is one of my favorite meals of the year) was smoked ham with a citrus glaze, cheesy potatoes, steamed asparagus, fruit salad, and bread shaped like a bunny, with mint brownies for dessert.

We hope you all enjoyed your holiday and took some time to reflect on the reason for it's celebration.

Happy Belated Easter! That family shot is fantastic! Did you use a tripod or did someone take it?

And I'm impressed with the "sibling shots" too. It's harder than you would think to get a toddler and an infant to both sit still and look at the camera, isn't it?
