We enjoyed a great camping trip last weekend. The weather had cooled to the mid 70's by the time we got to the camp site. But this time we were prepared with sweatshirts, warm pajamas, and plenty of blankets and sleeping bags.
We had a fabulous campsite right next to a small lake. Riley was entertained by the ducks and frogs, as well as all the rocks. As usual, Asher was content just to be outdoors.
In addition to the lake, the campsite had a great playground. As soon as we got there, Riley made a friend and ran off to play with her. So Scot and I had a fun time introducing Asher to a lot of the fun toys.
Look at this tough guy, doing pull ups!
Perfect angle to see all his chins.
In the morning we enjoyed a great breakfast, then broke camp and headed home. We all had a wonderful time, but unless we get an unexpected warm spell one of these upcoming weekends, I think it will be the last time we camp this year.
Scot had fun experimenting with his camera in the dark. Maybe he'll post some of those photos in another post.

Fum fun! I went camping Labor Day weekend here and weather was pretty nice- but definitely getting chilly! We should plan a weekend camping trip together next year!
