Pumpkin Patch

I am not a big fan of Halloween. It was fun when I was younger and going to parties. And now it's fun to dress up my kids in cute costumes. But all the scary (or just weird) decorations, haunted houses, and scary movies just aren't for me.

With that said, I am totally getting into the season this autumn. Maybe it was the five adorable pumpkins we grew in our garden. Maybe it's the fact that the temperatures have actually cooled off here in Colorado. Or maybe it was our trip to the cutest pumpkin patch/petting zoo last week. We came home about a dozen pumpkins of all different sizes and colors to add to our own.

The kids are so cute and so grown up! Did it take a lot of practice for Asher to leave that hat on? Our guys freak out when we put hats on them.

Megan, I've found that distraction is the key. If I can't get it on his head while he's distracted by something else, I will distract him immediately after putting it on him and he nearly always forgets about the hat.

Your boys are older, and probably smarter now. They may not fall for it.

Okay, for real, I'm not kidding...I can't stand the cuteness!! Asher is adorable and he looks so cute in that hat. I love Riley's boots too. It looks like they had such a good time. What are the halloween costumes this year?

That last picture is the best. I love that little hat on him. How old is he again? Remind me... :)
