Enjoying Easter

Our family does the egg hunting part of the Easter holiday on Saturday. This year Riley and Asher were dressed in cute spring-ey clothes. But unfortunately it was cold and rainy outside, so we did out egg hunt indoors.

We let Asher get started before we let Riley loose, and it didn't take him long to figure out what to do. He has recently become a pro at picking things up and putting them into some sort of container, so collecting eggs in his basket was a piece of cake.

Riley seemed to be more interested in re-hiding the few eggs she found first. I had to remind her several times that it was her job to find the eggs, not to hide them.

Both kids had a great time playing with the plastic eggs, even after they were emptied. I was finding them in crazy places around the house for the rest of the week.

On Sunday my Mom, sister, brother-in-law, nephew, and niece came up to enjoy General Conference with us, as well as an amazing Easter dinner. (I'll be posting more about the food later.)
