Bear Lake Reunion: Day One

Just a week after returning home after Nick and Sharon's wedding, we headed west again for a Christensen family reunion at Bear Lake. It was the first reunion we have done, but thanks to some great research and planning by my Mom and sisters, it turned out great, and everyone had a fun time.

Our first full day there was spent at the lake. The kids had a great time playing on the beach and building sand castles, while the adults took turns playing on Sea Doos.

As one of my sisters observed, Riley is a very "task-oriented" person, and spent the whole time filling buckets with water and sand. We practically had to force her away from the beach so we could take her for a ride on the Sea Doo. But she and Asher both had a fantastic time playing in the sand and water.

The fun began to wind down after a few hours and we all headed back to the cabin for showers and lunch.

The rest of the afternoon and evening was spent playing card games, video games, and riding 4-wheelers.
