We joined some friends last week for a trip to a dairy farm. We were able to watch cows being milked, and then we learned about what cows eat and all the different things that are made from milk. We sampled fresh milk and cheese, and then we went out to meet a few of the cows.
Riley has always loved the idea of animals, but get her close to one that she isn’t familiar with, or anything larger than a German Shepherd, and this is her reaction every time:
Asher, on the other hand, had no fear.
Maybe it’s just the difference in their ages, and Asher will be more reserved in a year or two. But right now I love his enthusiasm for anything with four legs.
