Sea World

There were several reasons we chose San Antonio as our destination for Fall Break, but Sea World was high on the list. Riley and Asher had so much fun when we went in San Diego a year ago, we just couldn't resist taking them again, while they're all still young.

As expected, the kids all had a great time watching the animals and riding on the kid-friendly rides. But the highlight of the day (and probably of the trip) was that Riley's birthmom spent the day with us there. Although she and I keep in touch through email, we haven't seen her in a couple of years. All three kids wanted to hold her hand, sit by her, have her push the stroller, have her hold them up to see better, etc. And as always, she was accommodating to (nearly) all their requests, and was full of attention and love for them.

It was a wonderful day!
