First Snow

Right after returning from California, we got our first snow of the season. We barely had time to harvest everything left in the garden and blow our the sprinklers. It was a wet, heavy snow, and due to a warm autumn, the leaves hadn't shed their leaves much. We only had a few broken branches, but others in the city were hit hard, with some very large, old trees coming down.

The kids both like playing in the snow. This is the first year Asher has enjoyed playing in the snow as much as the idea of playing in the snow.

After we showed her what snow angels were a few years ago, Riley insists that you must do it every time there is new snow. {Becca's note: I don't think it's just Riley. Don't all little girls love making snow angels? I remember trying to jump to a fresh spot of snow, so there wouldn't be footprints nearby.}

Being naughty and throwing snow at the back door.

I don't think my kids know how to play in snow! :) It looks like a lot of fun!
